EdgeNet

There is no question that access to the Internet is essential to the ETS program.  However, a major obstacle in developing sustainable rural wireless broadband infrastructure is providing reliable high-speed Internet access at a cost effective price point. To meet this need, ETS has partnered with established telecom companies to create the "EdgeNet Hybrid Network", an innovative compendium of products, applications, and software which allows access to the Internet in a cost-effective and reliable manner.

The EdgeNet concept is based on employing ‘next-generation’ wireless technology, and seamlessly combining it with other advanced telecom and data handling/storage systems, into a fully integrated network, incorporating, 'last mile' (local access), 'middle mile', backhaul, and termination at a Network Access Point (NAP).

Extending a Satellite Provider's Footprint with the EdgeNet "WRAP"

ETS has developed the WRAP (Wireless Remote Access Point), a unique application designed to economically extend the footprint of a satellite terminal (such as Starlink) to cover a much wider area than a single modem can serve.  To download the whitepaper click on the link below:
