For over forty years the management of ETS Associates has played a pioneering role in two complementary areas:

• Designing, deploying and operating wireless networks, many times in rural and remote  areas of the world,
• Creating, aggregating, and distributing educational, telemedicine, and life improvement content, applications, and services over those networks.

Telecommunications

Since 1983, the management of ETS Associates, Inc. has been providing ‘hands-on’ engineering, field service, project management and innovative solutions for the wireless, fiber optics, satellite, cable, security technology and broadcast television sectors worldwide. TurboNet’s management has managed complex technical projects exceeding five hundred million dollars (USD). The company has undertaken projects in many locations throughout the world, many times in remote, high-risk, and hard to reach locations.   

Education & Health

ETS portfolio of content and services consists of a wide range of curriculum-based educational and medical programs designed for Internet distribution.  While ETS educational programs were initially distributed to schools via satellite, ETS was one of the first distance learning companies to stream its content over the newly created Internet. ETS programs have been beamed to public school districts in large metropolitan areas, such as New York and Los Angeles, as well as remote one-room country schools in Appalachia, small rural communities in the Rocky Mountains, and remote isolated fishing villages in the Alaskan Aleutian Island chain.  The outcomes of students involved in these programs have been exceptional and rewarding.
